Encrypted storage information loads on demand.
Passwords, tokens, and message bodies are never included.
Add an existing mail provider, review detected settings, and keep manual setup available when discovery is incomplete.
Use folders, the unified inbox, search, sorting, selection, archive, delete, tags, stars, and undo. Remote-only content is identified instead of blocking cached mail.
Compose with the correct identity, recipients, subject, body, and attachments. Drafts save locally. A send remains pending or ambiguous until its provider result is known.
Cached content and local changes remain available offline. Status distinguishes local, syncing, synchronized, conflict, and error states. Never remove a device until its important pending changes are reconciled.
Your MailVault is encrypted. Provider credentials normally stay on this device. Keep an offline recovery export, review paired devices, and revoke devices you no longer control.
Local and DAV collections keep stable identities. When concurrent values cannot merge safely, GitMail retains both and asks you to resolve the conflict.
Use Tab and arrow keys to navigate, Ctrl/Cmd+K for search, C to compose, Escape to close dialogs, and browser zoom or high-contrast settings as needed.
Local cache eviction, removing this device, deleting MailVault replicas, revoking credentials, removing Plus data, and deleting provider data are separate choices.
Do not include passwords, message contents, access tokens, or other private data.
Votes are GitHub 👍 reactions from signed-in users. Bugs are prioritized by independent reports and duplicates; security issues always override popularity.
